Highlight from the last 2 months

So, I haven't been posting here for exactly 2 months. Well, In this post, I'm gonna show you the list of events (except for personal ones) that happened in these 2 months:

• March 3, 2012: I joined a fashion show!
• March 30, 2012: Recognition Day
• April 1, 2012: Got  my iPad 2 (oh and my Apple ID was pretty late)
• Today: Realized that my Vista PC is considered obsolete.

So, That's pretty much all that happened.

Enjoying the weekend

Usually, When it's Saturday or Sunday, We all log in to our Facebook and/or Twitter accounts to check for notifications, chat with friends or (For Windows users) play Facebook apps. But what else can we do? You can text a best friend to hang out at your house, Ask your boyfriend out to a date, and more...

Enjoying the weekends doesn't mean chatting on FB or viewing random pages, It can also be a time to bond with your family and friends, to go to malls or to go to Starbucks for a date.

I'm getting an Apple ID! And more on Macs...

So, I got a Mac, Obviously, To enjoy Apple's services, You will need an Apple ID, It can be used to buy Apps from App Store (Both the Mac and iOS versions), Music from iTunes, and tons more! The exact date for this is February 20, 2012, It would be the BEST MONDAY EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why did I get a Mac?
It's because, It is an Ultrabook, A high-end kind of laptop, And because It can view HD videos and photos.

Mac's downsides:
1. You can't play Facebook apps.
2. Few software choices, Since most software providers prefer offering their software to Windows-based PCs.

I love hanging out at the Windows facebook page, Ever since I did the switch, I started to love Macs (But i still hang out at the Windows page for some reason!). I am also an admin in a popular Apple fan page and I started talking about Macs in school (even insisting that our school should use Macs!), In other words "My Mac changed my whole life."

Edit: I'm not sure if I'll get an Apple ID....

Laptop Review: MacBook Air

When I first got it out of the box, It wowed me, I thought, "OMG! I am holding the greatest laptop in the world!" I opened it, I love the boot up sound effect. After I typed in the password, The first thing I saw was the dock at the bottom and an info bar at the top. The speed is fast, I started to multitask, It is still fast. I love My Macbook Air. The Cloud

Is you USB Flash Drive getting full? Is your computer slowing down because of many files? Then store your files "in the cloud" A "cloud" is a private storage that you can access anytime, but there are some "shared" clouds that certain amounts of people can access, which is usually done when making group projects, Before you can save to the cloud, Find a good "cloud site" A good site is SkyDrive, But you'll need a Windows Live account to store things to your private cloud, Windows Live can be visited in http://windowslive.com . Here is how "the cloud" works:
1. You store (let's say 2 pictures) in the cloud
2. It will be accessed by you only because it is set to "not shared"
3. You "shared" the 2nd picture to your friend (432daisy@live.com.ph)
4. She will be able to see the 2nd picture but not the 1st one

That's why there's no problem putting pics of your face (or even your mom's) since by default, it is seen by you only. Happy storing "to the cloud"! Bye!

A Nice Christmas

I spent the Christmas on my grandparents' place, We went to a resort that has a swimming pool(I'm scared to swim) and many bedrooms. We slept in the bedroom next to the stairs. But before we sleep, We played some games and ate our Noche Buena and gave each other gifts, After giving the gifts, We opened them. I got more of bags and clothing, some shades and some toy magnet set. I also got a pair of notebook and pen. The story continues tomorrow.... :)

Newest OS for phones - Windows Phone 7 / 7.5

You've heard of Android, iOS(the OS for iPhones) and Blackberry OS right? Well, Microsoft just made their own OS for phones! The title says it--It's called Windows Phone 7 but sometimes called 7.5!--It's UI(User Interface, The things that you see in the screen)  is very simple and easy to go around! Here are some pics:

The music player on Windows Phone 7 is called Zune

There are not much apps for Windows Phone 7, and the apps costing starts at a whopping $2.99!

For the Games Hub, You will need a xbox 360 (Microsoft's version of the PS3)

If any decent Windows Phones reach the Philippine market, I'd so get one!
